Jim Holden is an author and writer living in Rome. His new book just published is Via Garibaldi, the first popular English-language biography of Italian hero Giuseppe Garibaldi for more than 40 years. He was chief sports writer of the Sunday Express in London for two decades before moving to Italy where he now works as an adjunct professor at the American University of Rome.
