Jim Holden is a an author and writer living in Italy. He currently works as an adjunct professor at the American University of Rome, and is a columnist for World Soccer magazine. Previously, he was chief sports writer of the Sunday Express in London for 20 years. His first book was a biography of Stan Cullis, captain of England as a footballer and then celebrated manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers. His new book, just published, is Via Garibaldi, a biography of Italian hero Giuseppe Garibaldi.
